Thread: Norinco straight pull?

I seem to remember that there was a thread about the interesting Semis that norinco manufacture. @res

I think res tried to get some made but the minimum order number was huge.

Anyone know if they do straight pulls? Could be a good thing to import but couldn't find any of them on Google.

I looked at buying some a few years back, even visited them in China. You are correct- min order numbers killed it for me. I didnt pay any attention to straight pull centerfires but I have no doubt they would do them if asked as long as they were doing a run anyway. its just a cost/min order question. NZ is a small market to get stuff made for- just look at the 7 round mag situation and lack of factory options, not even work making a plastic spacer to service NZ.
Anyway, I have yet to see a straight pull or pump version of a centerfire semi/select rifle that I would bother with myself

I've had a go on a maral, it was impressive basically I think they are a straight pull bar.
