    not enough elevation in scope

    hi guys . i have a howa 22-250 with boyds stock suppressed that ive got a burris 6.5-20 e1 to put on . took my 3-9 e1 off but cant get enough adjustment from my 6.5-20 . at full height up adjustment im still 100mm to low at 100yds. think
    i have talley base/ring combo on . thinking i might need to email burris maybe . any thoughts ?

    That is weird. Can you swap front and back rings over to see if that solves it? Others will be along with thoughts.

    @sig4x4 any chance of a side profile photo? just to get a look at rings etc

    They only have 30 MOA of elevation which is the least I have ever heard of so that might be your problem. Once mounted you will have less than 15 minutes each way (up and down). You might need to shim your mounts. Cut a coke tin into shims.

    happen to have a set of nikko 30mm zero locks that after installing with equal packers will give me enough adjustments.so think i may buy a set of them in 25mm

    Thats why they have a ballistic reticle because they are not suitable for dialing once you get them zeroed.

    not trying to use it as a dial up just trying to sight in . spent some time this morning at mates farm and at full adjustment am still 100mm low at 100yrds

    I didn't suggest you were. I was commenting on the purpose of the configuration of the 'scope. Ballistic reticle coupled with minimal elevation adjustment.

    You could hammer a felling wedge in under the Barrel,jack that Barrel up a bit.
    Just use a polymer one not a steel wedge so you don't scratch the bluing.

    Buy a scope with 80moa to 100moa.Theres some good $500 scopes around.Save you the cost of ammo buggering around with yr present low moa scope.

    scopes on sideways, rotate it so there is a windage on the right hand side

    down is taking you right at the mo

    Looks correct in that regard. If you rotate it, the elevation knob will be on the left hand side, or rotating it the other way will have the windage under the scope.
