Now I can resume my quest for my first deer

Ok admittedly I did book this up with forlongs seeing they gave me access to my card again so I can keep saving for other things and scratch the trigger finger while I am at it. Was originally going to get a ruger american in 7mm08 but temptation got the better of me and could not resist the rifle rings and GPS (garmin Etrex 20) package I saw and I deserved something worth a bit more than $600 for the rifle after all of the shit I have been through.

Can't wait to get into them fecking hills after finding somewhere to sight it in rather than heading to the taupo range even though it would be a good road trip and i do have to go there in a few weeks to pick something up that has been waiting down there for me to finish paying off and collect for a while.

Thanks @Toby as you probably guessed it is a remington 700 with detachable mag the scope is a bushnell trophy XLT with DOA600 reticle (didn't have enough for the Loopy VX2 I was going to put on it) and the caliber is .270 as they did not have one in 7mm08 available that was not stainless so I settled for next best in my caliber choice.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    Hi Tahr
I really appreciate that if you want I am happy to pay you for them but will be a while before I can do any reloading as I have to get that gear back together once I have sorted out my truck license upgrade and a few other things.
