Perhaps,
I have the 2.5x20 and 4x32 nx8 and the 7x35 atacr and shooting the atacr and the nx8 at over 1300m in fading light they were both pretty similar to my old eyes.
They both all were brighter and had better resolution than the big swaro, go figure.
The swaro owner had to agree after looking through the 4 optics with 3 others.
It was an apples to apples comparison.

Definitely not. Comparing them side by side in low light conditions there is no noticeable difference (to my eyes) in optical clarity - I'll try to get some photo's next week to demonstrate. The main difference is in the zero stop clutch where the ATACR zero stop is built like a tank in order to meet military standards such as Mil-Std 810 F and G - which includes a pretty outrageous drop test. The other key difference between the ATACR and NX8 is the parallax drum with the ATACR being more forgiving than the NX8. On the flip side, the 2.5-20 F1 NX8 is noticeably lighter than the F1 4-16 and 5-25 ATACRs; 802g vs 944g and 1066g.
