Might be off to get a 7.62..anyone do carbon fibre stocks for them?perfect bush combo with DPT overbarrel I reason.
This is my MkI stock right out of the mould, fibreglass at the moment while I iron out any issues. I'll fit it to a .223 to bash around with and try to break it, part of the R&D process.
Working toward a carbon stock for Howa mini action, will be a very handy little and light weight gun that won't break the bank.

Are they for the mini tho?
Says for model 1500 which is the medium length action isnt it?
Na he’s got mini on there. Shortened – Magazine for Howa M1500 Mini Action 7.62×39 3 round – Kiwimags.com
So close to being like a cut down flush mag but still not
I am planning on grabbing a mag or two off them for the 223 mini action, along with a modified mag release. It is a shame that their 5 shot mags don't sit as flush as the cut-down factory ones that some guys have done. Still a big improvement on the factory 10 shot though.
I get 7 in mine flush with the bottom spring locator out and the mag follower legs trimmed
Feeds as good or better than ever with the extra mag spring tension

Anyone got any tips on the trimming process?
Take your time and finish it slowly with a file then sand paper block rather than cut for the length you want
If you do away with the bottom spring locator it also looses you the button that holds the floor plate in so they can disassemble quick and have wide tolerances at the factory. I wanted it to be a super tight fit so it doesn't need that to keep it, on just tons of friction
Lots of sanding then testing to get it just how you want it
If you take off too much off you can always just put the spring retainer back in and take the 2 shot reduce in capacity

^ I would throw a wad of cash at a Howa mini action if somebody built this bottom metal and did this conversion locally.
