nz online sites to buy firearms, scopes ect

    Hi
after thinking i had a scope sorted, turns out i dont, after some advice off this forum i had a look at a web site called NZ's Premier Gun Shop, Auckland Guns | Reloaders which was great as i can read info/price on products and can do it in my own time after work.

which got me thinking what other website's do people use to buy there gear from? maybe we could start a list? nz sites and maybe overseas ones that people have used with no problems?

as im new to sport and a student and want to make my amount of money go further, the on-line sites in general have some good deals
so for newcomers a list of good sites that people use would be good

just an idea and im not trying to turn this into a "buying online v's support your local shop" just nice to know what's available

They do but their shipping is expensive (like WTF expensive) and they take days to even process your order. Other than that, they are ok.

Brownells wouldn't sell me some Nikon scope rings. Think Nikon might have gone full retard with the "no international sales" thing. Someone tell me I'm wrong?

They did that with some Leupold rings with me, told me it was due to an agreement with Leupold's international distributors.

Optic zone sold me a mark 4 last month. It only took a few days to get to nz, but customs took another 2 weeks to sort their crap out. $978us compared to $2200 nz.
    And it was Jon.

Hey yogi.. I had the same thing happen through OpticZone .. 4 days from the time I clicked till the time it arrived in NZ... then another two weeks for customs to be dealt with.
Ended up saving about myself $65 on the deal in the end but it was worth it just to see what it was about. I hadn't been caught up with customs before.
Treat every firearm as loaded - Always point firearms in a safe direction - Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Identify your target beyond all doubt - Check your firing zone - Store firearms and ammunition safely
Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
