Thread: Oberndorf Mauser

I have posted this before but it kind of fits into this thread:

Pre war small ring Mauser, originally a Military Carbine made by Erfurt. Converted into a Sporter by Wolf in Austria in the 1930s.

Then rebarreled probably in Norway with a Kongsberg barrel and Reknagle swing off mounts and open sights with night beed fitted as well as a model 70 safety added.

Plenty of engraving, mint bore, came with a Swaro vari power with 30mm tube.

Paid less for the whole lot than what a bare Tikka T3 sets you back over here.

Its my main hunting Rifle, i look after it but it still comes on week long backpack hunts. I just oil it every night
