    Objective Flip Covers

Okay so last scope i ordered in I also ordered Butler and Creek flip covers for objective and eye's to do all my scopes. Two have already shit themsleves at the joint with not much use and in and out of the slips a few times.

What does the same job (i.e flip open and closed) but better ??

I know Leopould do their ones but I think thats just to fit their own scopes ??????

Ive only ever used the Leupy ones & they're pretty good ( don't seal out the moisture though ) & yes you need a threaded scope bell for em to fit

My Butler Creeks Blizzards have been going strong for a few years, can see all the dents on them that would have been on my scopes overwise.
I do have them on at 90 degrees, not straight up, wonder if that helps save the hinges?

You can buy Buttler creek flip ups for around $25.00 a pair.I feel this is about 6.25 x more than they are worth. If they would lay flat when open that would change to 3.25 x
No the threads are not the same on all scopes. You can make the leupold alumina covers fit some other brands but it may not be simple.
Leupold is the best option iv seen yet by a country mile and reasonbly priced if you import them.
I think Premier do their own? The Claw might tell us?

I'm just going to buy "bikini" covers for my scopes, they actually keep your lenses dry and shouldn't break
