Oceania Defense Suppressors - who has one?

    hey guys,
i am rocking DPT suppressors on all of my rifles,
    nothing to complain about,

was considering buying an Oceania Defense Magnum suppressor for my next rifle, as it will replace the suppressor on all 3 of my rifles,
I can only use one rifle at a time so i can just swap it to whichever rifle i want to use.

it is very expensive, but does the job of 3 DPT suppressors.

does anyone have one and highly rate them?
also compared to a DPT what do you guys think?

    keen to hear your experiences

Very light good sound suppression but muzzle forward sp add like 6" to barrel length and pn a 26" barrel it's getting loooong.

Old man has OD suppresor he runs on pest control rigs, has that fancy rachet lock system which he rates as super quick and easy going from 22/22mag/223, all AR15 platform. I'd have to ask how many rounds through it but I would guess thousands and thousands of 223 plus all the rimfire use also

I remember the good old days of guys cooking bacon on their ODL cans.
Just remember that the combination of the steel brake/ratchet and Titanium can total weight is getting up there. Even more with the Inconel cans.

I've got a couple of 556 Samsons, use them on my 233 & 6x45 rifles. Awesome bit of kit.

I have both 556 and 762 rachet lock suppressors. I used them for competition purposes.

One benefit over other direct thread suppressors is you don't need to worry about the suppressor walk itself out after a series of shoots if the muzzle brake adapter is torqued.

Plus they looks cool. Highly recommended.

I have their 30 cal alpine one on my 30 06 - nice and light with good sound reduction (but expensive)
If my work annoys me, I cull them

I have an older direct thread 223 can which I use on my straight pull AR, and used one gas operated AR's in years gone by.

I also have both a Titanium and Inconcel QD can. I have used these on short barrel 308's mostly.

They are all excellent. Nothing else comes close for noise reduction and resistance to abusive firing schedules at their weight.

has anyone had a DPt and a Oceania Defense and can compare sound reduction?
im looking at the 7.62 Magnum suppressor for my 300wsm and my 6.5 CM ,
currently they have DPT and do a good job for the money but as mentioned could look at updgrading if worth it.

I have one on my 300 blackout for last 10 years and with my hearing no difference in sound suppression with 300BLK supers using a 5 baffle muzzle forward DPT. Small powder charge less than a 223.

I’ve got both, the ODL are great, and super light, but I don’t think there’s much difference in noise reduction between them & the DPT?
I’ve also got an A Tec QD on a 7mm PRC which I really rate. The QD system is much smaller & lighter than the ODL version, and it’s quiet.
It’s got the muzzle brake end on it, and it’s big, but quiet & low recoil.
    Well worth looking at.
