Thread: ODL suppressor

I’ve had my odl for a couple of years now , it’s the alpine magnum 240 grams but I honestly think the standard 180grams would have been ok with the 65prc.
I looked at the ratchet lock option but it negated the benefit of a light supp due to its weight, so I went with the screw on one.I use mine on the 65prc and a 308. I generally carry it in my pack and then screw on too shoot. My prc is doing 3000fps and the supp gets bloody hot when you string a few shots together. I brought a second hand hardy stealth that weighs about 470 grams and the noise suppression seems very similar along with the recoil absorption, it’s bloody heavy though. But is handy and robust for been in the jetboat or motorbike.
