Thread: Old Rifles

Hi SuckAD, Might be a help if you could find the numbers on the metal of each.

That might give somebody here an idea of when they were made, and if they are rare examples.

Heres a couple of close ups

The Mauser is a beauty. It is a DWM 7x57 made for Brazil , hence the B. It is one of the best made Mausers there are and its value would be reflected in its condition. Most were made in Berlin but this is one made in Oberndorf. Check that it does not have rust below the woodwork.

While you're at it, have a look down the inside of the barrel for rust as well.
