Thread: Opinions on bedding job

    It may still be functional, even if it doesn't look the best.

    The stuff on the metal work should come off okay, the big gap around the barrel is fine...I like mine that way so the flex in the foreend from bipod use etc wont touch the barrel. But that rear action screw area raises my concerns? I've never touched an A-bolt, so I don't really know how they should look, but it just doesn't look right having epoxy stuck around that rear section?

    Yup, anyone that leaves a job in that state does not deserve your business, I'd be insisting on my money back and looking for another gunsmith...
