Opinions on the Leupold VX-3HD 3.5-10x40 CDS ZL 30mm Duplex

As the title states, any have any first hand feedback on that exact scope? Can't find too much info online, most is of the 1" tube, or the fireplex reticle. Looking at getting one for my Weatherby .30-06, just want to know if they're a generally well liked scope, thanks!

I have one on my .223rem. Very happy with it so far.. Clear optics and reliable tracking as would be expected. It took a heavy knock a while ago and held it's zero.
Mine is the Firedot version but I don't think it would be any different from the standard duplex version

Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

Looking forward to any replies as brought one last week. Not mounted yet so no personal report.
Like you I struggled to find anything about the 30mm version - doesn’t even exist on Leupold website

No doubt great scopes like the 1" tube counterparts, I would think the only real difference would be more internal adjustment being 30mm tube.
Let us know how you get on, I have always found the 3.5-10 versions of the vx3 range to be very good and better than the 4.5-14 versions as far as light gathering and clarity to my eyes.
