I just thought it worth mentioning since it has the potential to cause problems, especially with regards to the handguard rail not lining up or being parallel with the receiver rail. If it works for you then that's great, but it's not a setup I would recommend to someone.

Another solution for the OP could be as easy as a dirty great fuck off tactical charging handle.
