    Optics advice please team!

    Hey team.

Looking for recommendations for a scope for my Tikka 7mm08 with locking elevation & windage turrets, some form of zero stop and ideally SFP and Mil clicks. She does a mix of hunting and range work 0-800m. I know can hold for wind but I like to dial it and pretty set on something with locking windage. Been running a cheapo Nikko Stirling Diamond LR 4-16 which has been surprisingly good but recently has not been holding its vertical zero as well as it should (not ammo or rifle issue so we’ve problem solved to the scope) so time to upgrade.

VX5HD 3-15 looks primo but no locking windage (can one be retrofitted?)
VX6hd 3-18 seems to tick all the boxes but bloody pricey.
Element titan or helix tick most boxes?
Burris 3-15 (sadly only in Moa but not a deal breaker)
Any one have much experience with the Delta Titanium scopes?

Any other scopes you can recommend or any input on the above?
    Cheers

I wouldn’t worry too much about locking turrets. I’ve got a Swarovski z5 with a non locking elevation turret and have carried it for years in the bush and the open and never had it shift once.

All good choices, personally if I had the coin I would buy another VX5 in a heartbeat - does everything I want and some. I also have an Element scope and really rate it, would be high on my priority list if I was looking for something in the 3-12/15 range. Dont get hung up on locking turrets, nice to have, but the scopes you have listed dont seem to have any issues.

Ive got a VX3 with factory option mil clicks and cap. Those are accurate. Its SFP so I got a simple heavy duplex reticle.
    This cost $2-300 extra.
They are non locking turrets and the clicks are soft so it often turns a bit during carrying. Wish I had a locking turret.

Nice scopes, I did a bit of window shopping a couple of weeks ago, VX5 HD & VX6 HD illuminated, also looked at the Burris veracity illuminated models....Hard not to start drooling lol.

3 out of 10 glass, giant objective so you can’t get a cheek weld and need high rings, and weighs 830gram- bro such a mean scope

Better than the bendy ones anyway.
    Rugged reliable repeatable.
Be interested where you get 3 out of ten from.
There's no free lunch with weight, but I agree about the 56mm objective.
    A 50 would be nice

I've had the delta titanium 4-24 was a nice scope and it's light gathering better then the element helix hdlr and burris signature. Just my personal view, still have the hdlr on my 223 and seems to be a good combo

+1 for the helix hdlr. I picked up Dannyboys and put on my 708. Very happy with the glass quality and it dials well.

Leupold is waaay over priced compared to others on the market. I find their reticles too heavy (the fine duplex model being the exception)for long range precision.. I'd go a second hand nx8 over the compared price of a vx6 any day.
    GPO scopes worth a look
    The new z5i+ sound good
On the cheaper end the Arken optics have been getting great reviews although I have yet to see one.
