Buying from the US is not a big issue ,if you have any warranty issues you just deal direct with the manufactuer.
However ,for me,a scope for a 22 and one for a centrefire are two different animals.There can be parrelex/magnafication/reticles/use(bush/tops etc) etc issues and the max for a 22 is about 100 mtrs ,with a centrefire way out there.
