good point someone made thats worth repeating.
the light ones can get real hot fast if you are range shooting, ie too hot to touch. the hardy stealth is awesome on my 223 & 243 but the compact 35cal one heats up after 3-4 shots.
If you are rapid firing or running hot loads in the dbt get the S/S first baffel as noted above,
None of this is a problem for a hunting rifle that probably only fires 1-2 shots at a time, 3 max when checking scope before the next trip.
