Wrap a bit of electrical tape around the barrel until it's touching but not snug.
If it's knocking that much though, sounds like the threads are maybe have some slop and/or there isn't much of a shoulder for the suppressor to butt up against.
This. Shouldn't be flopping around enough to contact barrel.
A neoprene sleeve fixes the normal clink experienced from things hitting the suppressor though. Or a horse bandage as MD says.
