Ok yes, just wanted to confirm that physical adjustment/modification of the sights was required, as opposed to just overlooking something or not realising that that's just how it is in standard configuration. If you want to modify it from its original configuration then have at it. A blob of weld on the front sight, then gradually file it down till you have the correct POI could be an option.
