Thread: Painting a barrel

Many years ago I painted a few of my rifles. Etched primed them first then a Matt black. Just one of the spray can ones. Still painted now some near 20 years later

Did try engine block paint for the supposed heat but it never dried properly and was always tacky. I figured it was because it didn't get baked.

Would now just get a bluing job done or cerakote.
