    Parker Hale foresight question

So, I lucked out and came across a foresight that I should be able to fit to my No4 Longbranch. When I’ve looked at fittting it kind of looked like the tunnel wasn’t directly over the barrel socket. It may be my eyes though. IF it did need a very slight realignment, I’d like to know if the gold/silver stuff between each part is solder or not, any help appreciated Name: IMG_5767.jpeg

it looks more like braizing, basically the same as soldering with brass filler wire

Thanks, hoping to make this work, I might try the same setup (sight block braised to PH tunnel) for my SMLE with a Mues rear sight

    Use silver solder.

Although last time I bought some from BOC I think they called it ProSilver. Cannot remember the % Ag. It's expensive.
