I've seen a set that had that stamped on them. They have that round stud in the middle to lock into the cavity in the bases.

I have no idea what rals3 is but these rings came off a Parker Hale I bought many years ago...as you can see they have the total neglect of years of living in a box of junk...somewhere I have probably got the scope that came with them...the three boxes of ammo that came with the rifle were priced in pounds/shillings/pence

Thats certainly possible. They were on an old rifle I bought a few years back; no scope on it, just rings and bases. However, when I retrieved them from storage tonight a thin shim came loose from inside one of the rings, so they very well may be 26mm as you suggest. ( I removed those rings and bases from the rifke at the time andcrepkacwd them eith steel weaver bases and rings for a leupold VXR illum tmr 3-9*40 scope.

The RAL S3 is 24mm (.94") in diameter.
The RAL S4 is 25.5mm (1.00") in diameter
Or you can stay within 300 yards and keep life a lot simpler.
