Part 2 of my .270's resurrection - Trigger

    Hi guys,
Thanks to everyone for the help with choosing a stock for the .270. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and go a Mcmillan and was planning to ring them up on Monday but the fates showed a different sign and I ended up finding a second hand remington 700 synthetic stock for $125 which has only been used on the bench. So I'm pretty happy with that.

The next thing I would like to fix is the trigger as the one I have now is heavy and has horrible creep. I'm not an expert on guns by any means if you haven't figured that out yet so I really do need help on this one. What is a good trigger or is it even possible to get a good set trigger for my rem 700?
I don't know what model it is but I'm pretty sure it's a BDL if that makes any difference.

Any help here would be much appreciated!!!!

    Cheers,

    BH

Your trigger is probably the old original trigger with vertical grooves on the trigger. It is easily adjusted to 2 lb with minimal creep. Just google adjust Remington trigger. Plenty of info out there on it
