Try clicking the switch on and of a few times. Mine play up but that gets them going again, I thinks it’s an auto off thing?

you will probably find the spring end of the battery terminal (the negative) has become unsoldered from the circuit board, its not uncommon
throw em in a courier bag along with a return bag and send them to me
