    I just looked at the documentation the police sent me last month as I had applied for some mags etc to be imported so I put a scope on the application, they refused the scope .

    There reply: The item in question is not considered to be part pursuant to section 2 of the Arms Act 1983 and such, there is no requirement to obtain a a permit to import for this item.
