    Plastic mag conversion kits

I just picked up a mag conversion kit for my howa .223 for a good price. It is a polymer/plastic thing and am just wondering at its rigidity considering it is what holds the stock to the receiver. Has anyone had any issues with these? It’s a legacy sports one. Had one on a 204 same as yours, didn't have any issues apart from the mag latch is easy to bump & drop the mag out, so cut the latch in half. Have a mini action 223 now with same type of setup cut the latch down on it too.

    No issues with mine.
Although I only use that rifle for competition shooting, not in the bush.
