A rod from the grip to the stock was once considered ok but not any more. It either needs a thumbhole stock , a standard rifle type stock or as you have it but as E-Cat.
You would probably get a E- Endorsment with hunting as a reason to own. But are the E-Cat security measuers you will need to comply worth the effort, thats something only you can answer.
