    G'Day Fella's,

In my experience, the heavier the suppressor/Can, the more variation in POI between Suppressor/Can Off & On.
From what I've read and personal experience, it is all to do with barrel harmonics!

I also know a couple of 500M and 1000Yard BR shooters, that believe that some non suppressor/Can "Muzzle Weight", helps improve accuracy!

Also, apparently a suppressor can assist in improving accuracy of a particular rifle, by redirecting the propellant gas away from the base of the bullet.
Apparently, when a bullet leave the muzzle of an Un-Suppressed rifle, the propellant gas (which is traveling at 2 + times the speed of the bullet), can have an effect on the bullet.

Best Wishes to you lot for 2012!
    Homer
