Just use a courier like Fastways or PBT.

Tell them it's a gun so they can flag it in their system and pay for it to be delivered to the person receiving it or to the depot.

I've sent three guns in the last four months and received two. It's not hard.

Gunshops do it every day of the week.

Indeed. Irony though is we had a courier (Courierpost) van arrive at the shop (A proper gun shop not a sports shop) and deliver a consignment with more than 24 rifles, and reloading equipment, and assorted other rifle associated sundries. There were even pictures of rifles on the boxes. We asked the courier company if the driver could collect one for return to the sender (Wholesaler) while he was still there and we were told by the lady on the phone that "They do not ship or carry any firearms parts under any circumstances" while their driver was unloading an entire van load to our shop........

Nothing is "hard" until moronic snowflakes become involved....Then "hard" starts to look easy....
