    Is this Powder or ??

Fired about 40 rounds through the 22WMR Brno 611 a week ago
Noticed it was a little sticky when cleaned barrel after that sighting (when my SUP was causing bullet mayhem hence so many shots)

Now I was putting the sling back on and could see all this Pollen looking crap looking into the Trigger guard area
    If it is powder
Why Yellow and why so much
Or is it bad oil ??

    Tasted it :-)
Has no burn/acid like or oil like taste - nothing actually
And no - not left it under an Old Man Pine for the week :-)

Not going to be easy to clean it all out either
Any suggestions on something to flush it with (me thinking Meths
Or needs a full strip down (wont be by me but)

yes its powder.....my old remington single shot used to get a build up like that then it would ignite and black face would occur...not humourous at all.

running action wet will stop it igniting but never seen anything as bad as what you showing..something badly wrong there

Maybe the fault in the SUP was causing more back pressure or something ???
I never noticed anything diff when shooting it
    No smoke or smell etc
Just had bullets going left and right
Kero and a fine paint brush will use to clean then
    Cheers

tin of brake cleaner would work mint.
Seen the odd bit of powder in the shottie but never anything like that.
Maybe try a few shots without the suppressor but that could be the culprit although thought that the powder should be burnt by then?

Common with 22Wmr and also 22lr worst in semis as the action opens while still pressure in the barrel blowing the unburnt stuff backwards.
The supressor won't be influencing it. It's suprisingly how consistent the ammo is given you get incomplete burn.

I have had a lot to do with .22LR Semi
My 1st new 22LR was a Voere semi
I was terrible at cleaning it - like never
    Put through 1000's of rounds

This above cannot be normal !!!

Have found the 22WMR needs more cleaning than my 22LR's.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

There was an article in the now defunct guns and hunting digital magazine comparing three 22 wmr semis, it had photos of that yellow stuff which is partially burnt powder. All three rifles had it in the workings but one was way better than the other two.

Well - not going to be happy about having to clean up that sort of mess every 30-40 rounds
May be I have to much oil there that is causing it to build up on ???

The pic above shows a lot - but i just put that in before I then saw into the Trigger mechanism

Also, .22 WMR rifles do need cleaning frequently to hold a tight group.. The copper jacketed projectiles at that MV leave a bit of build up in the bore.

    OK
    Was wrong SUP/Can on front
    Needed bigger volume for Magnum

I still getting some powder blow-back/build up

Is there an Air Can for sale out these (just to use occasionally to blow it out)
Also - what about I stop using oil and go to a Graphite Powder - is this available on the market too ?

    Shooting excellent though
5 rapid shots with Thermal scope into 1/2 inch group @ 75m
    Which is amazing from me
    @hamsav

The aerosol you mention - is that a Air in the Can product or something with cleaning fluid too ?
