Pre 1900 Percussion from UK to NZ

So if one was silly enough to want to try and bring a pre 1900 percussion rifle to NZ from anywhere overseas what do we know about the process

In the UK pre 1900 percussion and obsolete caliber is off license.
In NZ pre 1900 Percussion and Flintlock are off license if it is not shot.

I'm not interested in what should be ok I am only interested in who has done this or knows someone who has done this very recently

I do know there are guys still bringing in percussion Colt's and I will talk to them soon also.

I have a very specific percussion rifle in mind and do know of quite a few in NZ but all NFS . Several of those guys have 3 to 6 examples !
I can't really wait for any of those owners to die
