Any one heard of them , a new firm that makes stocks & bipods ? , in NZ

Hi Chris, I'm Rocky, one of the co-founders of Precision Platforms. We are developing composite rifle stocks and bi-pods as part of the Lightning Lab Manufacturing accelerator, and are refining our prototypes now.

I've resurrected this thread to ask if anyone here knows what happened to these guys? Did they fold?

I remember taking a really close look at one of their stocks at Reloaders in Auckland a couple of years ago. Now there appears to be no trace of them.

There email address is "Undeliverable"

Somebody on the forum from South Island showed us his custom rifle with one of their stock a few month ago but did not want to elaborate much about it.

Are you after one of his stocks? I have one of his early prototype laminate that I'd let go, PM if ya want, otherwise I'll probably list on the buy sell page in the next few weeks

I have put a couple on rem 700 long actions. I have put the latest one on my 6.5 match rifle. They are very good.

Any more news on this @Flyblown?

Have been looking at NZ made stocks and so far I have Stug (so sad no longer made!) Ken Henderson and these guys, their facebook seems dead (no updates but will PM them).

Looking for a Rem Model Seven/7 (not 700 stock)

@cameronjackwhite got one for a sako 75. Beautiful looking thing and it was the first they made for that type of rifle so they know how to start from scratch if they don't have a mold already

Ken Henderson Is the way id go for model seven, you can also order a manners off alpine but with all the covid stuff lord knows when you'll see it. Precision platforms is developing a hunter stock but at the moment their stocks are targeted to more long range, repeatable shooting. Beautiful stocks. The owner is on here somewhere. Once the hunter model is developed I'll own a second from him

The old southfort outfit is meant to be being re-launched by a previous partner. Anyone know anything about this? I have a southfort on my 270wsm xbolt and like it a lot.
