    PREMIER HUNTER SCOPE?

Have decided to keep my alaskan ti and replace my my Sightron big sky . What do you think about the premier hunter? I was also contemplating the Z5 Swaro . My only concern about the premier reticles hunter is that it is ffp and I am concerned about the odd shot I get in the bush when its really gloomy that I couldnt see the reticle well enough.

Very thin on low the xr... Would almost recommend walkin round with it on illum in bush..... I hav gen 2 mildot and a7..... The mildot has small gap between the thick posts on low power so you could generalize for a body shot.... A7 is slightly thinner than an average duplex on low... A7 is nice I like it... Its not to thick for 600m shots

Glass is awesome, as good as my Z6 Swaro. I have the Gen 2 XR reticle in mine, it is very fine at 3x but would be OK to use with Illumination. if the scope is going to be used more in the bush, or likely to be on lower powers a lot, I would probably be looking at the A7 or Mildot. A7 doesn't have holdover points if that is something that you are looking for.

GEN 2 XR at 15x, 3x, 8x and 15x illuminated (a bit hard to see, and all photos pretty average...)

If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

    Yep, same for me.

Took the rifle outside when it was basically dark at 6:30pm. Sheep that I could only just make out at 100m or so (with the naked eye) were easily picked up with the scope, could have comfortably shot them with the reticle illuminated at 3x or 15x
