    Took it out again today. I floated the barrel temporarily using shim steel like someone had done on an omark I used to have. This time I could shoot it at 100m. First up I used some 85gn loads the same as I used last time and it shot just over 2.5" . then I tried some 80gn loads I made up to try. The first group went 3/4" and the next one went 1" cracked it I thought. these were all from a cold barrel. After the walk to and back from the target feeling quite good about it I thought Id shoot a few more nice groups, for the rest of the shots it went to shit shooting all over the place. Did the usual check of all the scope mounts action screws and barrel clearance in the stock. Might be time to try a bedding job...
