    Yea thats never going to work it needs a stud that sits proud of the surface it beds against to work properly. Either mount a new stud or go for a short rail and a picatinny type bipod ie mtn gear

    Yep, I think new stud is the way forward, want to keep weight down, cos it all adds up!
    expect nothing, appreciate everything - and there's ALWAYS something to appreciate
