The classic scope of that period was the Lyman All-American. But unless you can source a pristine example why would you wish to handicap the rifle with a less than perfect example.
The Lyman Alaskan , which had a name for itself way way back is not nowadays up to scratch. That was typical of all they had back then.
I like the rifle the way it is. The scope on it is nicely sized and the optics beat those old scopes hands down.
