Thread: Pulsar XQ35 vs Pard TA 32-35

After some deliberation, I've decided the next thing I need to get is a Thermal Handheld, a truly invaluable tool for when you have hunting access on private farmland. The two options that meet the parameters (Aka, what I can afford ) are the Pulsar XQ35 and the Pard TA 32-35. After some reading on each website it seems the Pard is higher spec than the equally priced Pulsar, however the people I know who own handhelds all swear by Pulsar and speak down on everything else, I have a suspicion this is ignorance, from the days when Pulsar was THE thermal brand (similar to how people that no nothing of Leds talk up Led Lenser, but have no clue of their dated tech compared to brands like Maxtoch)

Let me know what you think, is my suspicion correct? Should I be leaning towards the Pard or get the tried and true Pulsar as I've been recommended to do by mates that own them
