    QD bipod

    Does anyone know of good (without being crazy in price ) bipeds that will quick detach from a standard stock stud

    +1 for the Harris. You only have to buy it once, and it will do you for a lifetime of shooting.
    Mine is about 20yr's old, and still works like new.

    yeah but I need (read want, who actually needs ....) a version of them that clips on and off (not unscrews)

    Sounds like you have the standard requirements triangle (pick any 2).... good, cheap, clips on and off.

    Just go for an Atlas with the QD lever and you won't regret it. The money you have to spend on a Harris to give it the features of an Atlas nearly compares to the Atlas anyway so go for the real deal.
