I have got a couple of stocks fitted with them. FYI the full-rotations ones can be pretty annoying unless you like getting your sling twisted. These days it seems to be trendy to have them on the sides of the stock but that doesn't seem to work so well at least for me if you are also carrying a pack ...

Or if carried on your front you can get it tight against your body and be 100% hands free without the rifle floping around.
This is the best location IMO for the rear one.

Having the rear one on the bolt side (RH side or RH shooter) is better is you are using the sling for shooting (rather than just carrying), and it still carrys just find if you mount the QD socket in the rigth spot.

The opposite side to the bolt. ....don't ask how I know :psychotic: and as close to both ends as you can (so on side close to the tip of the fore as you can and likewise for the butt go as close to the recoil pad as you can) or try taping your sling in position and see if its comfortable first.Quote:

How are these mounted into the stock? Drill a hole and epoxy?
One thing to be cautious about regarding the Chinese ones is it's a pretty safe bet they aren't stainless, I wouldn't want to epoxy that into my stock lol
Pretty much, also need to hollow out some extra material under the hole so that it forms a cone shaped void for the epoxy to fill in. Pretty easy install on composite stocks.Quote:

Yes very good and highly rate the sling. Being able to tighten hard against side of rifle is great for the majority of the time you are not using the sling.Quote:

+1 for the Mtn gear sling and flush cups, just make sure you clock them correctly when epoxying them in haha

The issue with some from ali is they are not all to spec. make sure to test well before travelling with them.
