Quick Detachable mounts for Weaver bases, advice sought

Hi, Im after some advice from you lot about brands of QD mounts

I want a good hold and if possible a pretty good return to zero when taken off and put back on.

What recommendations do you have re brands to buy, brands to avoid etc

    Cheers, Steve

Weaver quad locks work well. I have taken mine on and off and return to zero has always been enough for general hunting. Lots of weaver 'style' rings have round bolts that serve as lugs. These have to be moved forward in the base slot to be snug, whereas the weaver brand rings have a square lug that in my opinion slot in a lot better.

Am using a Larue LT120 it does raise the scope up more than standard rings and requires a picatinny rail with solid slots but works very well allows you to use the one scope on multiple platforms.
