Thread: Quick question for remmmy 700 sps .270 owners

Just wondering what ammo have you found shoots best in them apart from reloads

Highland shot well thru my rem 270 better than corlok actually.

Thanks Neckshot I might pick up a pack of Privi partizan seeing they make highland and give it a whirl but still tossing up on what else to try out as I was thinking about trying some hornady whitetail or federal blue box was only going to use the remington stuff to get the scope on paper (unless the rifle likes it which I am doubtful of as it has never shot well in any rifles I have owned but they have also been budget rifles too but still deserves a chance to prove itself) and was wanting to try one or two different brands just to see what one shoots the best to tie me over till I can start to reload again.

Only ever used reloads . Get a reloader to load them for me , he charge me .80 cents ech +consumables . I think they owe me around $26 for 20 . It's a no brainer custom loads for half the cost of shelf brought packets

I will post you that Corelokt if you want it. Justy say the word and it is yours

I will see how the corelokt stuff I already have shoots in my rifle first then I will let ya know.

federal blue box went well in mine, but every guns is different

After reading everyone's love of the corelokt I thought I should try some... hmmm very average in my rifle- not a remmey though

Fed blue seems very consistent

Seems that federal blue box is like hens teeth at present so got a box of federal fusion to try out as for the remington stuff it seems lathargic in velocity than the federal could tell by the increase in recoil when I tried a couple of federal rounds, the scope could do with further tweaking as I started running out of light up at mucko's place but got it sighted in but want to double check it after my hunt tomorrow
