The two I am interested in are the Steyr AUG , and the SIG550 , shoot both , However , the due to the design of the SIG , I have heard a few complaints of the 550 having slight accuracy issues , BUt I feel it is still more than acceptable for GovT work .
The complaints come from the Swiss , and they have the most actual trigger time with this platform .
RE : the AUG , trigger someone makes a " trigger tamer " for it , BUT , all I would do , would be strip the trigger down , sand down the mold line on the sear surfaces , then use the issue graphite powder that NZ Army uses .
And yes , 1 ) It makes a BIG difference in both smoothness & pull weight , & 2 ) YES , I have done exactly what I have said on a Steyr AUG rifle .
Accuracy , would favour the AUG , I believe , also , spare mags would be maybe easier to get ?
As both are piston guns , they would have less problems running a suppressor , than DI guns .
