Thread: Re barrel Tikka LSA 55

I have a mint stock and action in a Tikka LSA 55 however sadly the .308 barrel has seen better days. Can anyone tell me whether or not the Sako or Tikka barrels interchange with the LSA 55 Receiver. If so has anyone got a barrel in 243/7m08/ or similar for sale Cheers

Hi mate. I’ve just rebarreled a tikka lsa 243 as the barrel was shot. Sadly a tikka t3 has the same thread but screws much further into a t3 receiver than an lsa. does not fit at all. The gunsmith that did this for me made a spacer to set the headspace and keep the t3 barrel untouched. Will send you a photo if you like. Or call. Worth doing as great action.
