All model 110 based Savages use the same threads and can be mixed and matched as long as the shank size and caliber/bolt face matches. That probably wasn't explained very well but I'm really tired and would appreciate if someone else chimed in ha ha. Anyways, it means that I could take a barrel from a .308 Stevens 200 and put it on my Model 110 without any special work being done. All a person needs are the proper tools and it's easily done in about 10 minutes if you don't encounter any unforeseen difficulties.
I'm just looking for a factory barrel in .308 that someone removed in order to upgrade to a Shilen, Kreiger, ect. They usually go for $50-$70 in Canada and figure it's worth spending a little dough to replace the pitted factory barrel on the 110 coming my way.
@kiwijames - Nah, working holiday from Canada!
