    Real mans suppressor

A Mate lent me a 50 BMG suppressor so I decided yesterday to have a play with it.

Took it out again today to make a video of it.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-Gx_83Vhis

Quite an interesting bit of kit to use, at just over 15 lbs it is over half the weight of the rifle

It needs a bi-pod on the suppressor instead of the stock

Impressive Greg,I think im going to come down and visit just to fire that. The sound suppression is real good but you still have more muzzle jump aye.I actually think my Ai is louder than that suppressed 50 what do you reckon.

I know video is not realistic sound reproduction (and especially on my phone) but it seemed to me like there was a lot more echo with the suppressor than the brake, sound going forward with suppressor rather than sideways with the brake?.

I was pleasantly surprised by the suppressor, but it is huge....

A decent brake will always reduce more recoil than a suppressor.

I had a crack with this beast yesterday, minus the suppressor.

Its kinda like beer, you just cant stop at 1. If I owned it I would be totally broke

    Thoroughly recommend it.

    Lol.
The only reason I thought it was the same one was the suppressor bipod scope and rifle was all the same!
My nine year old was pestering me to shoot the fifty cal when we had it out bashing gongs.
I decided to let him have a go and as they say the look on his face when he pulled the trigger was " priceless"
The look on my face when I heard the 600 gong ring "priceless"

Sounds like a freakin jet doing a fly over. That can is novelty size. But then I guess it kind of has to be.
Whats the powder charge in a 50? Must be a fair amount of gas to redirect
