About LinkBacksEven if the barrel was cut back and then rechambered for 7x57 the magazine will be to short to accept the cartridges. Why you would even bother when the ballistic performance difference between the cartridges is so small, is beyond me! Both are good rounds, well suited to NZ hunting.
