They used to. They went bust and an American company bought the tooling and spares etc. Leopold bought the name. So any scopes lost 2010 are Leopold warranty. Anything before costs 100 American bucks.
I have found Andrew from the Hutt valley so I'll go with him but I will have a look at Wilhelm arms and optics.
We have nitrogen at work. Will look into making a fitting to purge an old one when I find one to muck around with.

I'd do it inside a large zip lock bag. Use the end of a hose and aim it into the lens and scope body to wash out the air. Then let the bag fill a bit so there is no air in there and screw it together.
