Thread: Reloading components - 270 and 243 brass, 270 projectiles and fully loaded rounds

I'm having a cleanout and want to get rid of some surplus stuff.

I have the following:

76 x .270 brass (I've only fired them once, but not sure of their history as I reloaded them in 1993 and they were "used" then.)

22 x .243 brass (Bought factory new, and fired only once. They've never been reloaded)

34 x loaded .270 rounds. According to my bag labels they contain 51gns of Mulwex AR2209 powder and 150 gn Sierra game king boat tail projectiles. But this is not guaranteed, because they were loaded in 1993 and that was a long time ago. The contents of the bags could have been mixed up and I just cannot guarantee the labels to be accurate.

But in saying that I am fairly confident the contents and labels are correct, but you buy "as-is" and take your chances. Most re-loaders will probably want to pull the rounds apart anyway and reload themselves to ensure consistency. Well that is what I would do!
