Thread: REM MODEL 7 CROSS PIN?

Hi all..

Five yrs back I revamped the fireing pin assembly with an alloy job,very lightweight.
Just lately I started getting light primer strikes..no bang
After taking the assembly to bits I noticed the cross pin came out in two pieces another
I'm no gun pro but the broken pin may or may not be the problem,dont know.
Has anyone got a old fireing pin assembly they don't want. I'm sure a few guys have changed to the lighter alloy one and have the old one lying around,maybe.
The cross pin holds the cocking thingy on the end of the fireing pin.
I have contacted Brownells USA but waiting for reply.
Just thought I'd put it out there.
