Any ideas who in Wellington area would do the swap of the trigger
Any ideas who in Wellington area would do the swap of the trigger
I did the upgrade to a Timney as well. Good way to get a trigger job.
I did it
When to remington site, entered the number , told.me it was a effected rifle and to to contact collings and Bradley in chch.
Had to send it down to them and they replaced the standard base model trigger with the xmark pro 2 adjustable trigger,
It was a big improvement
So i was pretty happy
Pm'd you @jim160
They replace the original 3 screw adjustment walker triggers.
Purely for legal reasons as the walker is very adjustable for sear engagement, over travel and pull weight. Bubba jobs can make them in safe.
They are a far superior trigger to the X pro. The Timmey is similar to the walker.
I Would not swap it out just check your original trigger passes the drop test, as that is what poorly adjusted ones were failing.
just resurrecting an old thread and have just googled rem 700 trigger fix and this popped up .turns out my trigger is part of the recall. not sure if it has been done as i bought rifle second hand .where do i find the "dot" .who in wgtn can sort this. cheers sig

I read recently that the Remington is having problems with some of the replaced triggers now.
